Rose T. Csincsak, 87, Lorain resident for 87 years

Rose T. Csincsak (see Horvath), 87, of Lorain, died Friday, May 24, 2002 at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community, Lorain following a lengthy illness.

Born Sept. 28, 1914 in South Amherst, she has lived in Lorain her entire life.

She retired from the Lorain City Schools where she worked as a custodian. Prior to that, she worked for General Motors, Higbee's Dept. Store, and General Industries, all in Elyria.

She enjoyed playing bingo.

Surviving are 4 sons, Richard T., of Tecumseh, MI, Joseph F. Jr., of Indiana, William R., of Lorain, and Steve L. "Jack", of Lorain, a daughter Helene Fakan, of Vermilion, 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, a brother, Louis Takacs, of Haines City, Florida, sisters, Mary Bodnar of Clyde, OH, and Catherine Tomchanye, of Flint, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Joseph, in 1987, her daughter, Rosemarie Toth, in 1996.

Graveside services will be Thursday, May 30th, at 11:00 a.m. in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp. Rev. Fr. Stephen J. Blum, pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion, will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, is handling the arrangements.
