Therman Franklin Milks, 83, US Army Veteran

Therman Franklin Milks, age 83, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at Center Ridge Nursing Home in North Ridgeville, Ohio.

Therman was born on September 18, 1918 in Star City, AR, and resided in Lorain over 50 years, employed as an Electrician for Ohio Edison ad a member of the Amherst Nazarene Church and Vermilion Masonic Lodge #424.

He served in the US Army from March 23, 1944 until January 21, 1946.

Therman is survived by his two daughters, Rosemary Benesh of Canton, Georgia, and Jean DiFilippo of Waterville, OH. His three sons, Herron F of Lorain, James J of Wakeman and Joe L. of Oberlin. Sister Ruby Lephew of AlDorado, AR and Brother Joe Osborn of Al Dorado, AR. 14 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 26 Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded by his Wife Hedric 11-1-2000 and Parents William W. and Bessie (nee Roman) Milks.

Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 7 until the time of the services at 8:30 PM in the Schwartz, Spencer, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 5th St., Lorain with the Rev. Rich Henry, Pastor of the Amherst Nazarene Church officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday 7-9 PM in the Griffin Funeral Home Star City, AR with funeral services Monday 10A.M. in the funeral home with Rev. James H. DiFilippo (his Son-in-law) of the First Baptist Church, Waterville, OH officiating. Burial will be in the Hefflin Cemetery Star City, AR.
