Rachael Mary Josephine Houff, 91, former church secretary
Rachel Mary Josephine Houff, 91, of St. Petersburg, FL formerly of Lorain died on Friday, May 31, 2002 at Laurels Nursing and Rehab Center in St. Petersburg, FL following a long illness.Miss Houff was born on June 10, 1910 in Lorain, OH and moved to St. Petersburg in 1957.
She was a retired church secretary at the Albright United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, where she was also a member. While living in Lorain, she was employed by the Bendix-Westinghouse in Elyria.
Miss Houff is survived by her sister Christine Grondin of St. Petersburg, and her brother Jonathan Houff of Vermilion. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph Martin and Chrysta (nee Arnold) Houff, brothers; Arnold, Gerald, Gordon and Robert Houff and a sister Margaret Manwell.
Graveside services will be held on June 14, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain, OH, with Rev. Larry Houff, nephew, officiating.
