Teresa A. Beeler-Hanko (nee Gorrell), 44, of Lorain, died Thursday, June 6, 2002 in the emergency room of Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center West in Lorain after a long illness.She was born October 14,1 957 in Sistersville, WV and had resided in Lorain for the past 12 years.
Mrs. Beeler-Hanko worked at Lorain Technologies for 10 years as the plant nurse and then in the gas, fire and rescue department.
She enjoyed crafts, needlepoint, cross-stitch, ceramics, reading and bird watching.
She is survived by her husband of 4 years Bert Hanko of Lorain, sons: Benjamin Beeler of Pittsburgh, PA and Brandon Beeler of West Virginia; stepdaughters: Amanda Hanko of Lorain, Erica Hanko of Lorain and Kim Hanko of Amherst, parents Guy and Carolyn (nee Snyder) Gorrell of Parkersburg, WV, brothers Steve Gorrell of Parkersburg, WV, Guy Gorrell of Beckley, WV, Richard Gorrell of Ohio and David Gorrell of Columbus, OH and her aunt Jan Novak of Maryland.
Friends may call Sunday, June 9, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 5:00 p.m. at the Glunva-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Patrick Shields, pastor of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, 1412 E. 29th Street, Lorain will officiate. Cremation will follow.
