David Steinmetz, 41, enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motocycles
David Steinmetz, 41 of Vermilion, died Friday, June 7, 2002 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center, Lorain, after a lengthy illness.He was born August 25, 1960 in Sandusky, OH. He moved to Freeport, TX in 1979 and them back to Vermilion 6 years ago.
He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Williams Diesel in Freeport, TX. He also owned and operated Stimey's Tattoo in Freeport. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, Vermilion, a member of ABATE, and he enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth (nee Pittenger) Steinmetz, daughter, Brooke Steinmetz, of NM, sister Cindy Stepp of Vermilion , OH, brothers, Harvey Steinmetz of Sandusky, OH, Chuck Steinmetz of Stantee, CA, Gary Steinmetz of Richwood, TX.
His father, Harvey E. Steinmetz, preceded him in death in 2000.
