Evelyn R. Peters, 88, 50-year member of the Fairview Park Chapter

She was born September 7, 1913 in Delaware, Ohio and had resided in Avon Lake since 1993. She had lived in Tavares, Florida from 1966 to 1993 and Fairview Park prior to that.

Mrs. Peters was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Avon Lake and the Fairview Park Chapter of the Order of the Easter Star #528 in which she was a 50-year member.

She is survived by her sons: Jack R. Fair of Lorain and Ronald Fair of Cincinnati; daughter Barbara Jackson of North Ridgeville; stepdaughter Jeannine Rowe of Carlsbad, California; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Philip Peters in 1982, parents J.W. and Edith (nee blodgett) Renninger and sister Helen Tackacs.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Tiffin, Ohio.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain.
