Frances T. LoPresti, 89, enjoyed cooking and taking care of others
Frances T. LoPresti (nee Cimino), 89, of Lorain died Saturday June 8, 2002 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was born July 7, 1912 in West Lebanon, PA and has been a resident since 1990.Mrs. LoPresti was a member of the Catholic Church at St. Peter and its Holy Name Society. She enjoyed cooking and did volunteer work where she especially enjoyed taking care of her older neighbors and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 64 1/2 years Angelo V., sons Roger and Virgil of Lorain and Reverend Carl LoPresti, priest at St. Joseph Church of Chenoa, Illinois, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sisters Helen Caradonna of Allen Park, MI. Rose Bonfiglio of Scottsdale, Arizona, and brother Samuel Cimino of Sterling Heights, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Calogera Assunta (Bertolino) Cimino, sisters Mary, Ann, Josephine and brother Frank.
Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home 1939 Oberlin Ave. where a rosary service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. by the Holy Name Society. A prayer service Tuesday at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. will be followed by 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Catholic Church of St. Peter 3501 Oberlin Ave. Rev. G. Michael Williamson, associate pastor will be the celebrant and Rev. Carl LoPresti will concelebrate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
