Margaret R. Cromwell, 85, enjoyed her grandchildren and a Cleveland Indians and Browns fan

Margaret R. Cromwell (nee Knautz), 85, of Sheffield Lake, died Sunday, June 9, 2002 at Community Health Partners Hospital, West, following an unexpected illness.

Cromwell was born on November 16, 1916 in Corapolls, PA. She lived in Chicago as a child. After marrying she moved to Sheffield Lake.

She enjoyed her grandchildren, and she was a Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan.

Survivors include her daughter June Tomlin of Sheffield Lake, sons Robert W. of Indian Harbour Beach, FL, and Edward L of Lorain. Several Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren. Sisters Mary Marynowski, Helen Yonushatis, Esther Knautz, and Josephine Vukovich of Chicago, Pauline Bourne of Palos Heights, II. Brothers Joseph Knautz of Lorain and William Knautz of Sheffield Lake.

Preceded in death include her husband Frederick W., 1993, daughter Shirley Cromwell, 1957, and parents Frank and Lena (nee Gerger) Knautz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Interment at Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
