Mary E. Aycock, 73, enjoyed traveling

Mary E. Aycock (nee Finnicum), 73, of Sheffield Lake passed away Thursday June 20, 2002 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born December 3, 1928 in East Liverpool, Ohio and has lived in Sheffield Lake the past 30 years coming from Lorain. She was employed as a baker for LuAnns Bakery, Lorain before retiring in 1990. Mary was a member of the Avon United Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling.

Mrs. Aycock is survived by her son, John S. (Debra) of Sheffield Lake; three grandchildren, John, Joe and Jeff, two brothers, Frank Finnicum of Mason, West Virginia; Jack of Gallipolis, Ohio and two sisters, Alice Eads and Betty Doverburger both of Gallipolis, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton C. (1992); a brother John Finnicum; two sisters, Nellie Denney and Martha Morris and her parents, Wade and Harriet (nee Grimme) Finnicum.

Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. Avon Lake from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at the funeral home Monday June 24 at 10:00 a.m. Rev John r. Butchko, pastor of Avon United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Memorial may be forwarded to the American Heart Association of Northeast Ohio, 1689 East 115th St., Cleveland, OH 44106.
