Ivanona Attaway, 85, enjoyed gardening and sewing

She was born June 25, 1917 in Newnan, Georgia.

She worked as a Salesperson for Seedsmith's Nursery. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Vermilion. He enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was the 1999 Erie County Senior Queen.

Survivors include daughters, Sharon Batton of Jacksonville, FL, Dianne Vranic of Vermilion, OH, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister, Joanne Attaway of Jacksonville, FL sister, Vivian Crowe of Grayson, GA.

Preceding her in death were her parents Lee and Dolly (nee Sewell) Attaway and her brother, Lee Attaway.

Friends may call Friday July 5, 2002 from 6-8 at the Town and County Funeral Home Chapel, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida.

Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 10 am. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida.
