Mary Lou Zudell, 76, Enjoyed crocheting and crafts
Mary Lou Zudell (nee Cooper), 76, of Wakeman, died Sunday June 30, 2002 at the Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness.She was born March 23, 1926 in Parkersburg, West Virginia and had resided in Wakeman since 1971 moving from Lorain.
Mrs. Zudell was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lorain and the Altar Guild and Mother's Club of the church. She enjoyed crocheting and crafts.
She is survived by her daughters; Myra Barrett of Akron, Kathryn Zudell of Elyria and Ruth Ann Bowman of Seaside, California; sons J. Keith Zudell of Gallup, New Mexico and Dale E. Zudell of Wakeman; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and sister Charlyn Savastuk of Sandusky. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph B. Zudell in 1994 and parents Carl and Garnet (nee Hamilton) Cooper.
Friends may call Friday 4-8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 5100 Ashland Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Gary Bernath, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Amherst, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
