Dolly M. Bolyard Dutton, 87 (nee Cathell) died on Friday, July 5, 2002 at Elyria Methodist Village in Elyria, OH following a long illness.Mrs. Dutton was born on June 10, 1914 in Rowlesburg, WV and has lived in this area for the past 40 years. Mrs. Dutton was retired licensed practical nurse providing private care duty. She had also worked for 8 years as a LPN at The Elyria Methodist Village. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Lorain, where she was very active. She was also a former member of Eastern Star.
She enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles, and collecting cat memorabilia.
Mrs. Dutton is survived by her two daughters, Bonnie M. Crate of Vermilion, Betty S. Funk of Ashland, her son, Paul L. Bolyard of Northport, FL, 9 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, her sisters Violet Carver of Baltimore, MD, Betty Sohn of Hydes, MD, her brothers Gerald Cathell of Keyser, WV, Richard Cathell of Chesapeake, VA.
She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Gilbert Bolyard of May 6, 1962, her second husband Charles Dutton on September 29, 1974 and her parents Charles and Mable (nee Gaines) Cathell.
Friend may call at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH, on Monday, July 8, 2002 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Additional visitation will be on Wednesday, July 10, 2002 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Etam Methodist Church in Etam, WV, with Rev. Orville Davis, pastor officiating.
Dolly Mable Cathell Bolyard Dutton will be buried at Etam Methodist Church in Etam, WV.
