Cloyd J. Dull, 76, US Army Veteran of WWII
Cloyd J. Dull, 76 of Sheffield Lake, died Monday, July 8, 2002 at his home after a long illness.Mr. Dull was born on August 12, 1925 in Jamestown, PA and lived in Lorain County since 1967. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. He was the owner-operator of Dull's Union Gas Station and retired in 1992.
He is survived by his sons, Daniel Dull of Sheffield Village, Mark Dull of Sheffield Lake, Terry Dull of Loudonville, daughters, Virginia Tran and Jeanie Joy of Sheffield Lake, Jackie Bardwell of Culter, OH, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one brother Harold Dull of Sheffield Lake.
Mr. Dull was preceded in death by his wife, Ivadel D. (nee Barton) Dull in 1974, his second wife, Betty L. (nee VonNay) Dull in 2001, a grandson, Jeffrey A. Tran, his parents, William and Myrtle Marie (nee Schafer) Dull, brother Bill Dull and sisters, Sarah Miller and Martha Buck.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Shroyer, associate pastor of the Church Of The Open Door, officiated. Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 451 of Lorain.
