Jesse L. Dunlap, 60, U.S. Army Veteran

Jesse L. Dunlap, 60 of Vermilion, died Monday, July 8, 2002 at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born April 21, 1942 in Blakeley, WV. He has been a Vermilion resident for the past 2 years moving from North Olmsted, Ohio.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean conflict.

Mr. Dunlap worked as a Welder Fabricator for Alcoa in Cleveland, Ohio retiring after 34 years.

He was a member of the NRA and FOP. He enjoyed gun collecting.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Lori Urmetz of Elyria, OH and Sandra K. Dunlap of Clearwater, FL; 2 Grandchild Sarah E. Woody; 2 sisters, Christina Bible of Cleveland, OH and Doris Stowers of Hurricane, WV, 4 brothers, Benjamin Clayton Dunlap of Brunswick, OH, Billy Dunlap of Oberlin, OH, Timmy Dunlap of Clendenin, WV, and Jerry Dunlap of Clendenin, WV; his step mother, Donna Dunlap of Clendenin , WV and a niece, Michelle Paxton of Valley Fork, WV.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Dunlap and his parents, Jesse and Thelma (nee Evans) Dunlap.

Private family services will be held in West Virginia.
