Anna Marie Buehner, 66, enjoyed crocheting and cross-stitch
Anna Marie Buehner - 66 of North Olmsted, formerly of Westlake, passed away, Wednesday, July 10th at Fairview General Hospital, following a two-month illness. Mrs. Buehner was born, March 11, 1936 in Cleveland and has lived in North Olmsted for the past 42 years.Mrs. Buehner has worked for a time in the office at CEI and also had managed a Lawson's store. She was a graduate of Westlake High School. Mrs. Buehner was a member of St. Richard's Church, North Olmsted. She was a score keeper and Secretary/Treasurer for the North Olmsted Softball Association. She was also an avid bowler, bowling in several leagues including the Tuesday Women's League at Buckeye Lames, the Couples League at Westgate Lanes and an all-star travel league. She enjoyed crochet and cross-stitch.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur F. "Art" Buehner, whom she married, July 7, 1956. Other survivors include three daughters, Lynda Capuria (David) of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Barbara O'Brien (James) of Cap Coral, Florida and Teresa Keener (Michael) of North Ridgeville. Other survivors include five grandsons, David, Brandon, Joseph, Kevin and Daniel, as well as, two sisters, Eleanor Younglas of Westlake and Patricia Schoditsch of Elyria and a niece Patricia Miller (Lynn). She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillian (nee Artl) Humpal and a sister Dorothy Younglas.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister-Family Chapel, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon, Sunday, July 14 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 15 at St. Richard's Church, 26855 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH.
