Barbara A. Burger, 39, Medical Secretary
Barbara A. Burger (nee Antus), 39, died Thursday, July 11, 2002 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a four-year illness.She was born February 2, 1963 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident. She was a 1981 graduate of Southview High School in Lorain.
Barbara worked in the office of Joseph Ross, M.D. in Westlake as a medical secretary for several years.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township and a past member of the St. Vincent School PTO.
She enjoyed bowling, camping, shopping and spending time with her daughters and family.
She is survived by her daughters, Brittany M. and Kayla M. both of Lorain; parents Richard A. and June Antus of Lorain; sisters: Bernie Deidrick of Lorain and Debbie Carlson of Conneaut; brothers: Richard J. Antus and Larry Antus both of Lorain and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 14th from 2-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Monday, July 15, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 41295 N. Ridge Road, Elyria Township. The Rev. James Ols, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
