Robert O. Hahnsch, 82, US Navy Veteran

Mr. Hahnsch was born on March 31, 1920 in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Lorain 57 years ago. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. He was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII. Hahnsch was a retired chemical engineer with US Steel.

He was a member of University of Wisconsin Alumni Association, Great Lakes Historical Society, Vermilion Amvets, Senior Fellowship, American Association of Chemical Engineers, and Sigma Delta Omega (a chemical engineer's fraternity).

Mr. Hansch is survived by his wife Betty H. (nee McDermott) Hahnsch to whom he was married on November 14, 1944, his two daughters, Barbara Brauwner of Homestead, FL, and Kimberly Margolis of Kettering, OH.

He is preceded in death by his parents Otto G. and Erna N. (nee Moritz) Hahnsch.

Services are private and arrangements have been entrusted to the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer and Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
