Robert Pabon, 47, former member of UAW Local 2000

He was born on January 9, 1955 in Nyack, New York and resided in Lorain since 1958.

He was a tow motor operator at Ford Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake for 27 years. He was a member of UAW Local 2000.

Surviving is a son, Shane of Lorain, a daughter, Veronica, of Lorain, his mother, Antonia Pabon of Deltona, Florida; two brothers, Louis of Cleveland and Pete of Lorain, and his former wife, Mari Pabon of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro, in 1991, and brothers, Richard in 1972 and Reynold in 1983.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where funeral services will be Wednesday, July 24 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Mr. Robert Dybo, deacon of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
