Ruth Ann Krieg, 66, Elyria Resident since 1963

She was born March 28, 1936 in Buckhannon, West Virginia where she lived until age 13. She has been a resident of Elyria since 1963.

Mrs. Krieg was an aide for six years with the Elyria Public Schools working with the handicap. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. John United Church of Christ, South Amherst.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Edwin A. Krieg, sons Michael J. Marquardt, Robin E. Marquardt, and Hal Marquardt, all of Elyria and Timothey B. Krieg of Brownhelm Township; daughters, Denise Shaffstall and Bambi Ehasz, both of Elyria and Cindy Zapotosky of Toledo; nineteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil Bernard and Thelma (nee Fisher) McCall.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the St. John United Church of Christ; 416 Leonard St., South Amherst with Rev. Janet Sprague, pastor of Birmingham United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst.
