Susan J. Hurlbut, 51, enjoyed sailing, sailboat racing and traveling
Susan J. Hurlbut (nee Osgood) (Formerly known as Susan Siefke) - 51 of Sheffield Lake, passed away Thursday August 1, 2002 at her home following a five month illness.She was born August 18, 1950 in Westlake, where she lived most of her life before moving to Sheffield Lake six years ago.
Susan was employed as an office clerk for True Value in Westlake the past twenty-four years.
She possessed artistic talent in several media and enjoyed sailing, sailboat racing and trips to nearby points of interest. She also enjoyed Native American collectibles.
Mrs. Hurlbut is survived by her husband Douglas P. whom she married on July 18, 2002. In addition, her father Victor Osgood and Step-mother Louise Osgood both of LaGrange; a step-daughter Heather Coleman of Lakewood and two grandchildren, Lila and Ian; two sisters, Sandy Gerrick of Parma and Donna Simmons of Amherst and a brother Vic of Avon Lake. She was preceded in death by her mother Jane (nee Russ) Osgood (1976).
Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, Sunday, August 4, from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial services at 5:00 p.m. Rev.
