Paulette "Paula" M. Cribbs, 49, Nurse
Paulette "Paula" M. Cribbs (nee Mariani), 49, formerly of Avon Lake passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at Community Health Partners Hospital & Surgical Center, Lorain following a nine month illness.She was born March 31, 1953 in Cleveland, Oho and was a 1972 graduate of Avon High School. She was employed as a nurse at Mill Manor Nursing Home, Vermilion. She enjoyed raising goats, gardening and loved children.
Mrs. Cribbs is survived by her husband of 14 years, Gary; a stepson, Michael Cribbs of Avon Lake, and a step daughter, Maureen Halstead of Montana; four grandchildren; her parents, Paul and Dorothy (nee Petro) Mariani of Vermilion; a sister, Susan Rochford of Macedonia and a brother, Robert Mariani of Avon.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon Belden Road, Avon lake from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2002. Services will be held at the funeral home Friday, September 6, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Kelly Peters, pastor of the Avon Lake United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmhurst Park, Cemetery.
