Pamela Ceron, 49, Referral Specialist

Pamela Ceron, (nee Feliciano), age 49, of Lorain, died on Sunday, September 22, 2002 at University Hospital of Cleveland following a lengthy illness.

Born on August 30, 1953 in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. She had moved to Lorain in 1956.

She was a 1971 graduate of Admiral King High School. She had also attended St. Petersburg Jr. College in Florida.

Pamela was employed at University Pediatric Center at Community Health Partners, Lorain, as a referral specialist for the past 7 years. Prior to this she had also worked at Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital in St. Petersburg, for 14 years prior tot hat she had worked at Head Start in Lorain for 10 years.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain where she was a very active volunteer, serving as a lector and festival committee member.

She was an original board member of El Centro and volunteered fro the UAW Hispanic Leadership Conference.

She enjoyed bowling and dancing.

Surviving is a son: Luis Ceron, Jr. of St. Mary's Georgia, daughters: Julia Ceron of San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Lisa Ceron of St. Mary's Georgia, a granddaughter, Lauryn Reid, mother: Edin (nee Correa) Feliciano, of Lorain, 4 brothers, Pedro Feliciano, Jr. of Lorain, Papo Feliciano, of Elyria, Eliezer Feliciano, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Damian Feliciano, of Lakewood, Ohio, sisters, Eunice (Nici) Ramirez, and Maria Ernst, both of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years: Luis Ceron in 1994 and her father: Pedro Feliciano, Sr. in 1987.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 from 2-4 an d6-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Friends may also call at Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. William Thaden, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
