Cindy K. Crellin, 53, Wife, Mother and Realtor
Cindy K. Crellin, 53, of Avon Lake entered heaven on September 29, 2002 after a hard fought, one-year battle with cancer. She passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.Cindy was born March 16, 1949 in Painesville, Ohio and graduated from Harvey High School in 1967. Cindy had lived in Avon Lake, Ohio since February of 1983, after residing in Northern Virginia for 14 years.
Cindy worked in the community as a Realtor for the last 12 years. She worked most recently as a leading sales associate with Avon Lake Realty One.
Cindy devoted many years of her life to volunteer service in and around Avon Lake. She was instrumental in the creation of Avon Lake's Community Resource Services (CRS). She was also active with the Avon Lake's schools and PTA, High School Access Program, Avon Lake Women's Club, Welcome Wagon, Kinderdance and Cleveland's Providence House. She also shined as a dedicated Soccer Mom.
Cindy was the beloved wife of Thomas E. Crellin, and loving mother of three children: Thomas (T.R.) and wife, Sandy (Rota, Spain), Bradley (Avon Lake), and Amanda (Avon Lake). Cindy is also survived by her parents, Norman and Charlotte Kubb of Mentor on the Lake; formerly of Painesville, her sisters Barb Kinkelaar (Grand Junction, CO), Annette Terriaco (Concord), Melissa Sukeena (Concord), brother, Richard Kubb of Ellisville, MO, sister in law Linda Orange (North Olmsted) and several nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
Cindy touched the hearts of many while she lived well, laughed often, and loved much. All will miss her, as we celebrate the memories of her many wonderful years she spent with us.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Beldon Road, Avon Lake, Thursday, October 3, 2002 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 4th in Holy Spirit Church at 10 a.m. Fr. James H. Beatty, Pastor, Holy Spirit church, Fr. Timothy J. O'Connor, Pastor, St. Joseph Church and Deacon Howard Masony, St. Joseph Church will officiate. Interment will be Monday in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
