Ethel S. Botos, 77, Secretary

She was born April 27, 1925 in Lorain. She was a life long resident. She was a 1943 graduate of Lorain High School.

Mrs. Botos was a member of Saint Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain. Where she was a member of the Virgin Mary Society. Mrs. Botos was the Financial Secretary for Saint Ann's Auxiliary for over 25 years she also was a Treasurer and Recording Secretary. She served as Secretary for the Lowell, Whittier, and Admiral King P. T. A's. She also volunteered for the First Lutheran Church's of Lorain Meal on Wheels.

Among the survivors is her daughter Sharon E. Baker of Lorain and 3 Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Joe in 1983, her parents Paul and Zuzanna (nee Teremi) Ujlaki and sisters Margaret Kerchner and Vilma Polonkay.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 9, 2002 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, Lorain, Ohio, where Saint Ann's Auxiliary will pray the Rosary 3:30 PM Wednesday afternoon.

Funeral service will be Thursday with closing prayers at 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by 10:00 AM Mass in Saint Ladislaus Catholic Church, East 29th Street and Wood Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Patrick Shields, Administrator will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
