Anna Hritsko, 97, Cook

She was born on November 17, 1904 in Rovna, Slovakia. She moved to this area from Slovakia in 1916.

She was employed as a cook at Imperial Café, Lorain for many years before retiring.

Anna was a member of Ss Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, Lorain, where she was a member of the St. Mary's Sisterhood. She also was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Orthodox Church in Marblehead and the Democratic Women's Club.

She is survived by her two sons: Michael of Ft. Myers, FL, Robert of Lorain, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Peter in 1979: James in 1967 and Peter in 2001.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 17, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where a parastas service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friends may also call on Friday, October 18, 2002 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 at Ss Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, Archpriest Basil Stoyka, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
