Loretta I. Brogan, 63, Enjoyed spending time with his family
Loretta I. Borgan (nee Montoya), 63 of Brownhelm Twp., died Sunday, October 27, 2002 at her home after a lengthy illness with Parkinson's Disease.She was born February 14, 1939 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She had been a Brownhelm Twp. Resident since 1977 moving form Lorain.
Mrs. Borgan was a Title Five Coordinator for Lorain City Schools active in Native American culture studies.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion where she had volunteered as a CCD teacher. Mrs. Brogan was previously active in Native American Activities with L.E.N.A.C., and she had been a Boy Scout Den Mother. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband Russell Brogan of Brownhelm Twp., 2 daughters: Tamara Smith of Tucson, AZ, and Mike Brogan of Cleveland, OH. Other survivors included 5 grandchildren, 2 sisters: Carol Reveria of Albuquerque, NM, and Suzanne Snyder of Albuquerque, NM; 2 brothers: Joseph Montoya of Albuquerque, NM.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Thomas and Eloisa (nee Gonzalez) Montoya.
Friends may call at the riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion, OH 44089 Wednesday, October 30, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 8:00 p.m.
