Genevieve Drozdowski, 90, Enjoyed Crocheting
Genevieve Drozdowski (nee Ostrowski), 90 of Marietta, GA and formerly of Avon Lake passed away Monday October 28, 2002 at her home following a sudden illness. She was born October 27, 1912 in Cleveland, OH and moved to Marietta, GA five years ago coming from Avon Lake where she resided for 37 years. She had worked as a custodian at the Avon Lake School System for ten years and was a member of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake. Genevieve enjoyed crocheting.Mrs. Drozdowski is survived by a daughter, Arlene M. Kucharski of Marietta, Georgia and two sons, Richard Drozdowski of Broadview Heights and Robert Drozdowski of Haw River, North Carolina. Other survivors include seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, a sister, Cecelia Kowalski of Parma and a brother, Stanley Oster of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter (1991), a daughter, Dolores; and her parents, Joseph and Czislana (nee Czmanska) Ostrowski.
Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. Avon Lake from 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Prayer service will be held at the funeral home Friday November 1 at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd. Avon Lake at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Timothy J.
