Dorothy L. King, 78, Vermilion Resident Since 1950
Dorothy L. King, 78 of Vermilion, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a lengthy illness.She was born July 7, 1924 in Hundred, WV and had been a Vermilion resident since 1950.
She had worked for Riverview Nursing Home in Vermilion and Society Bank in the housekeeping departments. Mrs. King was a member of the First Baptist Church, Vermilion.
Survivors include: one daughter, Ellen Susan Huston of Vermilion; one son, Harry S. Kind of Ruckersville, Virginia; 3 grandsons; one sister, Ruth Wigginton of Powell, Tenn.; and one Brother, Ralph Bradley of Sarasota, FL.
Preceding her in death were her parents, James W. and Docie Alma (nee Vanhorn) Bradley, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
Private family graveside services will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
