Texas Corena Waddell, 71, Assembler & Inspector
Texas Corena Waddell age 71 of Grafton Twp. passed away Saturday morning in her home after a 6 month illness.She was born Friday, December 18, 1931 in Greeneville, Tenn., living in Grafton Twp. for 46 yrs.
She is a member of Belden United Methodist Church for many years. She was employed by Modern Tool & Die for 31 years, as an assembler & inspector before her retirement in 1999.
Mrs. Waddell loved gardening, crossword puzzles, watching & feeding the birds, and caring for her family home.
She is survived by 2 Daughters Linda Jaudon of Amherst, Ohio, Rena Schmidt of Valley, Neb.
3 Sons Ted Waddell of Anaheim Hills, California, Jim Waddell of Grafton, Ohio, John Waddell of Elyria, Ohio, 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, 6 Sisters Virginia Hixson, Juanita Sizemore, Nancy Miller, Gladys Norton, Trixie Bowes, & Teresa Holt all of Greeneville, Tenn, 4 Brothers Coleman Hixson of Lakewood, Ohio, Meneice, Edward, & Wayne Hixson of Greeneville, Tenn.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph in 1977, her parents Roy and Velma Hixson, and a sister Lorabelle Watson.
Friends may call in the Blackburn Funeral Home 1021 Main Street, Grafton, Tuesday, January 7, 2003, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with funeral services in the funeral home Wednesday at 10:30am with Rev. James Cake, pastor of Belden United Methodist Church officiate.
Burial will be in Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton Twp.
