Anna Marie Hahn, 95, Active in many senior citizen events

Anna Marie Hahn, age 95, of Grafton, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2003 in Life Care Center of Medina in Liverpool Township, following a lengthy illness. She was born Sunday, October
6, 1907 in Youngstown, Ohio, and lived in the Grafton area over 48 years.

She was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Grafton for many years. Mrs. Hahn worked for the General Telephone Co. in Medina as a telephone operator for over 42 years before her retirement. Mrs. Hahn was active in many senior organizations including Columbia Station Senior Citizen, Olmsted Falls Senior Center, North Eaton Senior Center, and I.C.C. Golden Aires where she arranged many field trips & restaurant reservations for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Harry W. Neely of Wooster, Ohio and James S. Hahn of Columbia Station, Ohio, one daughter Linda Ann Murphy of Stone Ridge, NY, 8 grand children and 9 great grand children, three brothers: Michael Goricki of Poland, Ohio, Joseph Goricki of Youngstown, Ohio, and Stephen Goricki of Brookfield, Ohio.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Howard D. Hahn Sr. in 1963, a son
Howard D. Jr. in 1984, a brother Max, three sisters: Margaret Kennedy, Teresa Colarie, and Frances Hanek, and a granddaughter Michelle Nelly.

Friends may call in the Blackburn Funeral Home, 1021 Main St. Grafton on Wednesday, March 5, 2003 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 6, 2003 at 10:00 AM in Assumption Church 1033 Elm St. Grafton with Fr. Ralph Bodziony, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton Township.
