Edward Kaliszewski Jr, 70, An avid fisherman, golfer, and bowler

Mr. Kaliszewski was a master mechanic at many auto dealerships in the area. At one time he was employed by Scotten Ford in Vermilion, Lloyd-Manwell of Avon Lake, Nichols Bakery in Lorain and before his illness, he owned and operated Ed's brake Clinic in Lorain.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lorain. Mr. Kaliszewski was an avid fisherman, golfer, enjoyed photography and bowled in many leagues in Lorain.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty (nee Parker) Kaliszewski, daughters Linda Cain and Barbara Pierce both of Lorain, Betty Ann Vincent of Louisville, KY and a son Edward Kaliszewski of Lawrenceville, Georgia, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sisters Cecila Long and Ann Rose both of Lorain and Dorothy Iwanicki of Decatur, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Sophia (nee Salvin) Kaliszewski Sr. and half brother Don Papin.
Friends may call Monday, March 10, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, Ohio where funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst, Ohio.
