Dorothy LaVerne Gould, 89, She enjoyed gardening and quilting
Dorothy LaVerne Gould, age 89, of LaGrange passed away Sunday, March 9, 2003 in the Elyria United Methodist Village after a short illness. She was born Wednesday, March 19, 1913 in Spencer, Ohio and lived in LaGrange most of her life.She was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Center and the First Baptist Church of LaGrange, and attended the Church of Christ in LaGrange. Mrs. Gould retired from the LaGrange Laundry Mat that she attended to for many years. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Delva Sword of LaGrange, Ohio and Mrs. Joyce Fetzer of LaGrange, Ohio, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents Clarence & Isabella Wallington, a brother Lester, and a son Earl Gould.
Friends may call in the Blackburn Funereal Home 1021 Main St. Grafton, Ohio Tuesday, March 11, 2003 from 7-9 pm with funeral services in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 am with Rev. Nelson Slone pastor of the Cornerstone Christian Center officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery, Spencer, Ohio.
