Lloyd Henry Hofecker, 72, Enjoyed traveling, outdoors, story telling, hunting, horses and his great grandchild

He was born July 17, 1930 in Johnstown, PA and had been a Vermilion resident the past 42 years.
He was owner operator of 2 sawmills including H & H Lumber. He had worked at Ford Motor Company for 14 years and Edwards Tree Service for 10 years.
He was a 1948 graduate of Westmont High School in Pennsylvania. He was veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He received a Purple Heart. He was a Sergeant in the Tank Transport Division.
He enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, story telling, hunting, horses, and his grandchild. He was a life member of AMVETS Post 22, Vermilion.
Survivors include his wife, H. Lillian (nee Peters) Hofecker of Vermilion, 2 sons, Perry Hofecker of Wakeman, and Kevin Hofecker of Vermilion; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a brother, Ted Hofecker of Vermilion.
He was preceded in death by a brother, "Jim" Marshall Hofecker in 1981 and his parents, Lloyd Sr. and Elizabeth (nee Marshall) Hofecker.
Private services will be held. The Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, handled the arrangements.
