Norman R. Frindt, 77, Avid softball player, enjoyed fishing, and family reunions
Norman R. Frindt, age 77, of Avon lake, formerly of Cleveland, passed away, Monday, March 24, 2003 at Fairview Hospital, following complications from Parkinson Decease. Mr. Frindt was born, October 24, 1925 in Detroit and came to Cleveland as a child. He has lived in Avon Lake since the early 1950's.Mr. Frindt had worked for National Cash Register for over 30 years as a service manager, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Lorain Elks Club 1301. He served on Avon Lake City Council and remained active in city politics serving on various boards. He was an avid softball player, enjoyed fishing and having good times with his family. He especially enjoyed family reunions.
Mr. Frindt is survived by son, Norman I. Frindt (Donna) of North Ridgeville and daughter Dana Scott-Dickey (Lee) of Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Other survivors include granddaughters Elizabeth and Jamie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Martha (nee Goeldner) and a brother Albert Frindt.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are by the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, Avon Lake.
