Elizabeth Jean Rice, 84, Member of Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church
Elizabeth Jean Rice (nee Ford), age 84, of Vermilion, died Thursday, March 27, 2003 at Kingston of Vermilion. She was born June 29, 1918 in Columbus, Ohio.She had worked in the marketing department at Sears in Elyria. She was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, and the Madeleine Chapter #204 of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Roger K. Rice of Vermilion, and 2 grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, James Harold Rice, July 5, 1987, a brother Ivar C. Ford, Jr., sister Martha Kuhl, and her parents Ivar and Anna (nee Soderblom) Ford.
Services will be held at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 2:00 pm. The Reverend Guy Morton, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church will officiate. Madeleine Chapter of the Eastern Star will conduct a service at the cemetery. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
