Diane Elizabeth Honoshofsky, 59, Secretary

She was born Wednesday, April 21, 1943 in Elyria and had lived in Amherst and LaGrange area all her life. She is a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Elyria where she played the organ and piano. Mrs. Honoshofsky is a graduate of Oberlin Business College, and was employed by the State of Ohio Geological Survey as a secretary from where she is recently retired. She is also a member of the American Rabbit Breeders, Lorain County Rabbit & Cavey Breeders, American Flemish Giant Breeders Assoc., American Polish Rabbit Breeders, and American Palomino Co-Breeders Assoc.

Mrs. Honoshofsky enjoyed raising rabbits, playing the organ, crossword puzzles and religious hymns. She also enjoyed being a foster parent.

She is survived by her husband Michael married 33 years; Daughter Jackie Honoshofsky of LaGrange, Ohio; Son Daniel Honoshofsky of Elyria, Ohio; One Grandson; Aunt Minona McVey of North Ridgeville, Ohio; An Uncle Elmer Cook of Fla.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alton & Connie Cook, Brother Robert Cook and 1 grandson.

Friends may call in the Blackburn Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 from 7-9 pm with funeral services Thursday in the Zion United Methodist Church 43730 Telegraph Rd. Elyria, Ohio at 10:00am with the Rev. Bill Seith officiating. Burial will be in River Rd. Cemetery LaGrange Twp.
