Margaret L. Mayich, 83, Enjoyed her family, friends, church and playing Bingo
Margaret L. Mayich (nee Clark), 83, of Avon passed away, Monday, March 31 at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake. She was born March 28, 1920 in East Brady, Pennsylvania and moved to Avon two years ago coming from Avon Lake and the Cleveland area. Mrs. Mayich was employed as a housekeeper doing general office cleaning for Cuyahoga County, retiring in 1982 after 13 years of employment with the county. She was a member of the Avon Lake Baptist Church. She also volunteered at Parmadale Children's Home, Parma and for the Diabetes Association. She enjoyed her family and friends, church, and playing Bingo.Mrs. Mayich is survived by five daughters, Ellen Bobich (Bob) of Lakewood; Nancy O'Connor (Patrick) of Brookpark, Mary Peluso (Ron) of Sheffield Lake, Peggy Hilfer (Frank) of Berea and Liddie Galestock (Kenneth) of North Olmsted. Other survivors include a son, Steve Mayich (Maggie) of Westland, Michigan; 24 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (1971), nine brothers and sisters and her parents, Samuel Edward and Liddie Samantha Clark (nee Yates).
Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL; 163 Avon-Belden Rd. located in Avon Lake from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Services will be held at the Avon Lake Baptist Church, 321 Lear Rd., Avon Lake Friday April 4 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Jamie Stewart, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Westlake.
