Edith Luella Britza, 86, She enjoyed all types of needlework, especially quilting, knitting and crocheting
Edith Luella Britza (nee Cosgrove), 86, of Wellington, died Saturday, April 5, 2003 in Elms Retirement Village in Wellington following a lengthy illness.She was born on September 26, 1916 in Marrow County, Ohio and lived in Wooster most of her life. She had been a resident of Wellington for the last two years of her life.
She was a cook for 15 years at Apple Creek State Institution and retired in 1979. She enjoyed all types of needlework, especially quilting, knitting and crocheting.
Survivors include two grandsons, four great grandchildren, and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter K. Britza in 1952, daughter, Sandra K. Britza-Domenick in 2002 and parents, Earl and Gertrude Cosgrove.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 8, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 in West Lawn Cemetery, Canton, Ohio.
