Anna Ondulich, 86, Lorain resident most of her life
Anna Ondulich (nee Miklos), 86, of Boca Raton, Florida and formerly of Lorain, died Saturday April 12, 2003 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Boca Raton.She was born June 7, 1916 in Sharon, Pennsylvania and had resided in Boca Raton for the past several years. She had lived in Lorain most of her life.
Mrs. Ondulich worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain in the dietary department. She them worked at Dalton Clothing Manufacturing as an inspector retiring in 1985.
She was a past member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic Church and a past member of the St. Nicholas Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughters Carol Silvestri of Boca Raton and Mary Beth Kolis of Biloxi, Mississippi; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Ray Miklos and Albert Miklos, both of Pennsylvania and sisters Helen Walczak and Betty Mahefky, both of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband George Ondulich in 1966, parents Michael and Mary (nee Pablo) Miklos, daughter Margie Zalesko in 2002, Brother John Miklos and sisters Mary Burich and Margaret Miklos.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel followed by a mass at 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
