Irene A. Dominski, 84, Enjoyed square dancing, playing cards, Bingo, and bus trips anywhere

Irene A. Dominski (nee Emieljanowicz) age 84, of Avon Lake and formerly of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, April 15 at the Rae-Ann Suburban Nursing Home, Westlake following a one year illness. She was born July 23, 1918 in Cleveland and moved to Avon Lake nine years ago. She was a homemaker and at one time worked part time as a seamstress, as a school crossing guard, and for May Company. She was also a member of the Lively Avon Lakers and the Young Spirits Club. She enjoyed square dancing, playing cards and Bingo, and bus trips anywhere.

Mrs. Dominski is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellen Schmidt (Leland) of Avon Lake and Connie Carver (James) of Parma; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward; a granddaugther, Rebecca Schmidt; a brother Casimir Janowicz; two sisters, Theresa Kocina and Alfreda Emieljanowicz and her parents, Frank and Constance (nee Danilowski) Emieljanowicz.

Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be held at the funeral home Thursday April 17 at 10:00 a.m. Deacon Howard Masony of St. Joseph Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park. Memorials may be forwarded to St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd. Avon Lake, OH 44012.
