Eileen D. Clary, 84, Enjoyed sewing and playing golf

Eileen D. Clary (nee Kelley), age 84, of Avon Lake, passed away, Friday, April 25, 2003 at the Western Reserve Masonic Community (formerly known as The Oaks), Medina following complications of Chronic Obstructed Pulmonary Disorder. Mrs. Clary was born, October 10, 1918 in Lakewood and had lived her entire life in the area.

Mrs. Clary worked from her home as a seamstress for many years. She was a 1937 graduate of Lakewood High School and besides sewing she enjoyed playing golf.

Mrs. Clary is survived by a son Edward (Marianne) Clary of Amherst and daughter Cheryl (Dan) Sturgeon of Westfield Center. Other survivors include 3 grandchildren, David, Gary, and Sarah. Besides her husband, Robert L. Cary, she is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert, Stanley, and Donald "Bud" Kelley and parents Frank and Elizabeth (nee Dittus) Kelley.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon Belden Road, Avon Lake from 10:00 AM Monday, April 28, 2003. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Rev. Kelly Peters of the Avon Lake United Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted. Memorials may be forwarded to Our Lady of the Wayside, 38135 Colorado Ave., Avon, 44011.
