M. Faye Williams, 37, Homemaker who enjoyed collecting bears
M. Faye Williams (nee Harness), age 37, and a resident of Oberlin, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2003 at her home following a two-year illness.Born May 17, 1965 in Amherst Hospital she was raised and madder home in South Amherst until 1990 when she lived in Langgons, Germany for two years. Oberlin has been her home for the last 19 years.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting bears of which she had a very large collection.
Survivors include her son Kevin Williams and her daughter Sarra Tanea Williams, both living at home with their mother, her mother Oma Jean Harness of Oberlin, her sisters: Judy Karen Dodrill, Janet Ruth Wright, both of Lorain, and Joann Marie Harness of Wakeman, her brothers Jerry Russell Harness of Oberlin, and Kenneth Ray Harness of Lorain. She was preceded in death by a husband Shawn Kirk Williams on March 5, 2000, and by her father Hubert Harness on February 24, 2001.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 29, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the funeral home. Mr. Darrell Freeman, an Evangelist associated with the Christian Life Church, Lorain, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst.
