Gary Joseph Manca, age 42, of Cleveland and formerly of Sheffield Lake passed away, Friday, May 2, 2003 at his home following a short illness. He was born July 22, 1960 in North Tarrytown, New York.Mr. Manca was employed at Steel Industries of Cleveland where he did clerical work in shipping and receiving. He attended St. Thomas Church, Sheffield Lake.
Mr. Manca is survived by his parents, William J. and Joan M. (nee LaBanc) Manca, brother Mark Manca of Sheffield Lake, sister Elizabeth Parr of Howard, Ohio, and a niece Taylor Parr and nephew Scott Parr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 521 Harris Road, Sheffield Lake on Monday, May 5, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Fr. Stephen Shields, pastor of St. Thomas Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Avon. Memorials may be forwarded to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 521 Harris Road, Sheffield Lake, Ohio 44054. Arrangements handled by the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake.
