Frank A. Pribanic, 87, US Army Veteran
Frank A. Pribanic, 87, of Las Vegas, Nevada and formerly of Lorain, died Saturday May 3, 2003 at Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas after a brief illness.He was born June 1, 1915 in Lorain and had resided in Las Vegas since 1989 moving from Lorain.
Mr. Pribanic served with the US Army during World War II and was assigned to the United Nations Hospital Corps.
He worked in maintence at the Lorain Ford Assembly plant for 19 years retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the AMVETS Post #47 in Lorain.
He is survived by his sons: Joseph Pribanic of Vermilion and Frank C. Pribanic of Las Vegas; 4 grandchildren; brother Matthew Pribanic of Lorain and sister Mary Hunady of Amherst. He was preceded in death by his wife Toni Pribanic (nee DeNicola) in 2001, parents John & Caroline (nee Underlich) Pribanic, brothers: John Pribanic, Joseph Pribanic and Michael Pribanic and sister Ann Tropio.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Mr. Ralph Krupp, deacon of the Catholic Cemetery, Lorain where AMVETS Post #47 will conduct military honors.
