Frederick R. Oswald, 65, Body Shop manager at Bass Ford for 20 years, Auxiliary Police Officer in Fairview Park
Frederick R. Oswald, 65, of Vermilion, died Friday, May 9, 2003 in the Cleveland Clinic Foundation after a 3-week illness. He was born January 17, 1938.He worked as a body shop manager for Bass Ford for 20 years. He also worked at Abraham Buick, Elyria and Matia Chevrolet, Elyria. He was an Auxiliary Police Officer for Fairview Park for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (nee Colborn) to whom he was married to for 27 years, son Craig Oswald of Westlake, daughter Jennifer Oswald of Westlake, and one grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Violet Katrinka (nee Stieringer) Oswald.
Private memorial services will be held.
