Jeanne M. Hollingsworth, 79, Former Avon Lady, loved to be with her children and grandchildren
Jeanne M. Hollingsworth (nee Adams), age 79, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Saturday, May 10 at Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center following a long illness. Mrs. Hollingsworth was born, October 23, 1923 in Colorado Springs, CO and had lived in Sheffield Lake since 1958, coming from San Diego, CA.Mrs. Hollingsworth was a homemaker, a 1941 graduate of Colorado Springs High School and attended Lorain County Community College. She worked for many years as an Avon Cosmetics Sales Lady. She enjoyed reading and was described by her family as one who always wanted her children and grandchildren around her.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Raymond Hollingsworth. Other survivors include 3 daughters: Anna Lou Robinson (Louis) of Elyria, Rosemary J. Stottlemire (Frank) of Portage, IN, and Janice L. Studstill (Rick) of Amherst, three sons: Michael Milam of Lorain, Donald A. Dolence (Doris) of Lakewood, and Les B. Dolence (Jennifer) of Birmingham, AL, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon from 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 13, until time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon. Memorials may be forwarded to New Life Hospice, 5255 North Abbe Road, Elyria, 44035.
