Paul J. Nalepka, 47, Lifelong Lorain area resident and enjoyed playing pool
Paul J. Nalepka, 47, of Lorain, died Tuesday May 13, 2003 at Specialty Hospital in Lorain after a two-month illness.He was born December 27, 1955 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Mr. Nalepka graduated from Admiral King High School in Lorain. He was a past member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain, a member of the American Slovak Club in Lorain and the Carousel Swim Club in Sheffield Village. He enjoyed playing pool.
He is survived by his daughters: Melissa Nalepka of Lorain and Venessa Nalepka of Elyria, 3 grandchildren; sisters Carolyn Scarone of Las Vegas, Nevada and Deborah Blabey of Lorain. Other survivors include brothers Keith Nalepka of Cape Coral, Florida and Joseph Nalepka of Lorain. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Dorothy (nee Gallo) Nalepka.
The family will receive friends Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Home, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Robert J. Glepko, pastor of Nativity o Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church of Lorain, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
