Pauline Scutt, 87, Hobbies included ballroom dancing and square dancing

Pauline Scutt (nee O'Hare), age 87, of South Amherst, died Friday, May 16, 2003 in the Critical Care Unit of Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center following a brief illness. She was born May 21, 1915 in Sharon, Pennsylvania and was a 1933 graduate of Sharon High School.

Mrs. Scutt came to Lorain in 1950 and was employed by the Lorain Printing Company for many years, she re-located to South Amherst in 1989.

A member of Heritage Presbyterian Church of Lorain, she was a past member of the church's hobby club. She was also a member of AARP, as well as the Sandstone Senior Citizens of South Amherst. Her hobbies included ballroom dancing as well as square dancing.

She is survived by sons Jerry McDonald of Vermilion and Jack McDonald of Henrietta Township, 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and a brother Robert O'Hare residing in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her first husband John McDonald in 1965 by her second husband John Scutt in 1989, by a daughter Audrey Lee Suprun in 1999, by her parents James and Ethel (nee Laycock) O'Hare, and by a brother Carl O'Hare.

Visitation will be Monday from 7-9 PM in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at 11:00 AM in the funeral chapel with the Reverend James Smucker, pastor of Heritage Presbyterian Church, officiating. Private burial will be at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.

The family suggests memorials in her name to the American Cancer Society, 43099 North Ridge Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035-1051.
