Helena J. Gebhardt, 75, Enjoyed music, namely Big Band music

Helena J. Gebhardt (nee MacGregor) - 75 of Avon Lake, formerly of Conneaut, OH, passed away, Tuesday, May 27 at her home, following a sudden illness. Mrs. Gebhardt was born, May 16, 1928 in Ashtabula, OH and has lived in Avon Lake the past 50 years.

Mrs. Gebhardt worked as a P.B.X. Switchboard Operator for many years at St. Joseph Hospital, Lorain. She enjoyed music, namely Big-Band Music.

She is survived by a son Tim Gebhardt (Linda) of Avon Lake, 4 grandchildren: Ryan Gebhardt, Eric Gebhardt, Jack Nagy and Jaimie-Lynn Nagy and a brother George Tusa (Marcia) of Vermilion.

Beside her husband of 50 years Jack R. Gebhardt, Mrs. Gebhardt is preceded in death by a daughter Jacki-Lynn Nagy, a granddaughter Joy-Lynn Nagy and her parents, Jack and Bertha (nee Whiting) MacGregor.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. Avon Lake, Thursday, May 29 for one hour prior to a 12 noon Service at the funeral home. Fr. Timothy J. O'Connor of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
