William B. Roach Jr., 67, Worked at Nordson Corporation for 26 years

He was born August 2, 1935 in Clarksburg, West Virginia where he was raised. He moved to Columbus, Ohio when he was 17 and has been a resident of Henrietta Township since 1990.

William worked for the Nordson Corporation Assembly line, retiring after 26 years.

Survivors include his son, Paul David Roach of Streetsboro, Ohio, his daughters, July Marcell Vanmeter of Chandler, Arizona, and Cathy Sue Keller of Sickamore, Pennsylvania, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Roach on June 23, 1997, by parents Rev. William B. and Flossie C. (nee Gardner) Roach Sr., and by brother, Paul S. and sister Wanda Swartz.

Friends may call Monday, June 2, 2003 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, South Amherst, Ohio.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
